TimeShareMLS.org Scam Buster Site
Hello Everyone!
The reason for this Blog is to expose and stop the the Timeshare Resale Scammers. In particular, CHL Marketing, Inc., owned by Howard Levene and operates www.timesharemls.org, www.tmiesharefsbo.com and www.timeshareresales.com. These are just the ones I am aware off--who knows how many others he has started now.
Mr. Levene is known to Federal Authorities due to his past association within the timeshare resale field. He was associated with www.timesharesbyowner.com until he and his partner had a falling out...I guess when you are scamming the insane amounts of money they are from timeshare owners it is only a matter of time before greed takes over and the sharks turn on each other!
The timeshare resale industry as it exists today is a completely useless service that steals millions of dollars from timeshare owners who are desperate to get rid of their units and those fees that go along with them.
They charge upfront fees to timeshare owners to "list"--that's what the really do--a timeshare unit. However, in the polished and slick sales pitch they will tell an owner that they have a buyers waiting, or there is a showcase this weekend and they need the owners property in it because the company inventory is low for that resort and they should be able to get it sold just to name a few tactics of theirs.
Never give money up front to advertise a timeshare unit. If they are that good they will take a commission when the property is sold. Wait, these guys generally aren't real estate brokers either so they legally can't advise a timeshare owner on a selling price and to handle to sales process.
You're always better off trying to sell the unit yourself..keep in mind it isn't an easy sale..timewshares are always over priced due and despite what the salesman that sold a timeshare unit to you say..it isn't a good investment.
With this Blog feel free to list any experiences you have had with timesharemls.org or timesharefsbo.com or any of the others out there. We need to make it as tough as possible on these SOB's!!
I will be posting my experiences with timesharemls.org in days to come as well. I have a unique take on this company and a lot of information that should make your stomachs turn.
